The tour goes to Uganda’s prime gorilla destination- Bwindi Impenetrable national park for an encounter with the giant apes- Mountain gorillas and through Uganda’s most popular national park- Queen Elizabeth for a drive to watch big game and a cruise on the Kazinga Channel.

Day 1- Arrival and Pick up from the Airport.
Upon arrival, you will be picked up by our representatives from Entebbe who will transfer you to the lodge where you will rest and refresh from. You will be briefed about the tour, have dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park
On this day, you will be picked up by our driver guide from your pick up point in Kampala and embark on a road trip to western Uganda, aiming the Gorilla land of Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park. This is a long day drive of approximately 10 hours with lunch stop over en route. Though long, the drive takes you through different features to include tropical rain forests, savannah fields and the terraced hills of Kigezi famously known as the Switzerland of East Africa. Drive to the lodge for relaxation as you wait for the next day’s adventure with dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park (Ishasha sector)
After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start Gorilla trekking – the activity can last up to 4 hours trek or more to find the Mountain Gorillas as you hike up and down the slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. Hence you will have packed lunch for this activity. This active quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures-the mountain Gorillas. Upon reaching them, you will have a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos. You will later transfer the Ishasha sector in the Southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park, arriving in the evening. You may do an evening game drive in the Ishasha sector. You will have dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Game drive in Ishasha and boat cruise on Kazinga channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your breakfast you will be taken to Ishasha Sector, famous for the tree climbing lions lounging in the tree branches while keeping a close eye on herds of Uganda Kob, their favorite prey. You could have a chance to spot some tree climbing lions after proceed to your lodge.
In the afternoon you will take a Boat Cruise along the amazing Kazinga channel to see, at close range, the water animals to include Hippos, Buffalos, Crocodiles and elephants bathing on the channel banks. There is also a variety of bird species on the water banks especially the famous Shoebill, pelican and Jacana. You will have dinner and overnight

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking in Kalinzu and transfer back to Kampala
Have an early morning breakfast and head to Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzee tracking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. You will be amazed to see these primates as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food etc. Later embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala with lunch en route. Your driver will take you to the Hotel for overnight

Day 6-Airport drop and departure
Today, depending on your flight, you will have a transfer to the airport for your exit flight.
